Fall Foliage 2011

I live in the midwest.  Summer is too hot.  Winter is too cold and snowy.  I love spring and fall best.  The heat of summer is past now.  The days are pleasantly warm and the nights are cool.  Perfect!  I’m starting to see the tips of the trees turning all the warm colors of autumn … Yellow, gold, red, orange and brown.  I live in a valley and can look out my back window to see the hillside.  It’s lush green all summer, but in the fall, it practically glows in a rainbow of color.  I’ve been watching the trees and the Foliage map so I don’t miss the peak.  I love to drive thru the countryside at least a couple times with nowhere to go … Just to soak in the sites.

I’m going to be posting fall foliage photos as I take them.

I posted the pictures at Fall Foliage Part 2

I invite you to add a comment with links to your fall foliage photos, too.  When you do, I’ll display them in a future post.

We can look at any photo, but until you actually see it, it is so breath taking. Great thought and will for sure bookmark your site. Thanks for the thought.

      Gwendolyn,
Thanks for the comment. I love living in Ohio with the change of seasons. And fall is the most spectacular. I look forward to your future comments on other posts.
